XFILE EPISODES SERIES

The premise for the series sees John Doe (played by Anthony Mackie), a smart-ass milkman with no memory of his past, joining the Twisted Metal tournament as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make his wish of finding community come true…if he can survive the savage vehicular combat. The original take for the live-action series is from the team behind Zombieland and the Deadpool movie, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Peacock has yet to reveal when exactly we’ll be seeing the first season of Twisted Metal, which will include the likes of Neve Campbell, Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Samoa Joe ( who will be playing Sweet Tooth) and Will Arnett (who is also on as executive producer, and will be voicing Sweet Tooth).

Jonathan likened the last day of shooting to the last day of summer camp, with “lots of laughs, a few tears, and ice cream being handed out the back of Sweet Tooth’s truck.” After the collapse of their relationship, former FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully are reunited by a TV host who promotes conspiracy theories about the government and believes that alien abductions are actually false flag operations. The series now heads to post-production, which will no doubt involve adding flames to Sweet Tooth’s head. Smith elaborated in subsequent tweets, saying that the cast and crew for production on Twisted Metal “was something special.” This was in spite of typical production issues such as “lightning delays, extreme heat, and cars that wouldn’t do as they’re told”. The series’ writer and executive producer Michael Jonathan Smith announced via Twitter earlier this week (along with a picture of an ice sculpture of the series’ logo) that production on the first season had completed filming. Production on Season one of Peacock’s upcoming TV adaptation of Twisted Metal is in the books. What are you waiting for? Get to binging!

  • 4) “The Post-Modern Prometheus” – Season 5, Episode 5.
  • 3) “Jose Chung’s from Outer Space” – Season 3, Episode 20.
  • Mulder and Scully investigate government evidence that might be tied into a cover up dealing with alien DNA. The live-stream is long over at the time of writing this post, but if you’re wondering which episode’s Anderson hand-selected to play during the binge, we’ve got that info for ya.įor starters, Anderson’s favorite episode is “Bad Blood,” part of Season 5. 8 THE ERLENMEYER FLASK (Season 1, Episode 24) Season 1 of 'The X-Files' represents, in many ways, the show finding its confident footing but without a doubt one of the best episodes of the freshman season is the explosive finale. Just last night, the official “X-Files” Twitter account did something pretty cool: they live-streamed six episodes from the show’s past, that list curated by Anderson herself. But which are your faves? Better yet, which are Gillian Anderson’s?! If you’d rather just revisit your favorite episodes than ALL of them, that’s a good idea too. According to our calculations, 208 episodes of the show have thus far aired between the premiere in 1993 and the finale of Season 10 in 2016 in other words, you’d better get a move on that marathon! With “The X-Files” returning for its eleventh season on January 3, now is a great time to binge-watch the previous ten seasons. Oh and by the way, Gillian Anderson is finally getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, January 8th, two years after David Duchovny received his!
